The teacher applicant must be a certified teacher with at least 2 years of teaching experience.

There is a demand for K-12 Mathematics, Science, and Special Education teachers but teachers of English, Social Studies, Music, and Art are welcome to apply.

Do I need a teaching license in the Philippines to qualify for the program?

Teachers applying for the exchange program must be certified teachers holding a valid teaching license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission and are considered in good standing.

Do I need a special education degree to participate in the program?

Having a special education degree is an advantage but not required. However, some special education schools may require special education graduate course units at the time of application.

Can I bring dependents (i.e., spouse, children) during my program?

Exchange visitors in the United States can bring their spouse or unmarried child who is under the age of 21. They will be issued J2 visas if they qualify.
